HALIMA
CEO/FOUNDER
Halima (Brown) Woods, and I'm also a Writer, Editor, Poet and Educator. Now I've decided to go by Grace Woods, for my Children's Book. More than any title, I am a Learner and Child of God. Writing and started creating her own greeting as a child. I started by writing poems of Birthday wishes for friends. Halima plans to continue writing more poetry, and different genres of literature.
I'm Kingston, Jamaica born, grew up mostly in New York. I've been in California now, for about 1/3 of my life in the US. I have 9 siblings, and both my parents are Jamaican native.
I now live in Southern California with my Husband Bart, who is an Artist himself composing music. We live with our 1 orange kitten "Hopps". We have so many dreams and ideas for creating Art and Life together. This is one of my dreams, and I'm excited to start this journey as a Writing Consultant and Publishing Company.
